The Click in it's original form came together beginning in the Summer of 1994 in Helena/West Helena, Arkansas. The original members of The Click were LaGanzie Kale, H. Stackhouse III, Michael Blakely, Demarcus Foster, Tyrone Mason and Antoine Hayes. The original Click would meet at LaGanzie's house to play video games, especially Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter.

All of the original Click members attended Central High School in West Helena, Arkansas. It was there where The Click would begin their DJ careers.

Young Democrats, a student organization at Central, was trying to raise money to go to Washington, D.C. for the inauguration of Bill Clinton. One of the fundraisers they had was a beauty pageant. LaGanzie was asked to be in charge of the music since he had knowledge of electronics.

Around the same time period this was going on, a
group of students at Central were organizing a party. The name of the group was Outkast, in which D.J. Mystachoo (more on how he got mixed in all this later) is a founding member. They had approached a guy named Darren Humphries to D.J. the party. Darren had one
problem, he didn't have enough equipment to do the party. LaGanzie had Spanish class
with Darren and overheard him talking about the party and his dilemma. He offered to help him out with the party.

One thing about The Click is that if one
member gets involved in a project, they're all involved in it. So LaGanzie, Darren, Mike and Stack (Stack III of K.I.P.R. Power 92 in Little Rock)
started working on getting their stuff together to D.J. the party. It was decided
that LaGanzie would be in charge of the equipment, again since he had the technical
knowledge. Stack wanted to be the one in charge of playing the music, and since
at the time, he knew the most about what songs were popular, that is what he
did. Mike and Darren, got in where they fit in.

Needless to say, that Outkast Party never came to
pass. But the beauty pageant did. Using equipment borrowed from Mr. Burton, then
Central High Choir director, two CD players, and two tape decks, The Click began
D.J.ing. The pageant was a success and they got the crowd crunk.

1995 saw Central High attain a J.R.O.T.C. To
celebrate, they wanted to have a party, but because they just started, they were
low on money and needed someone to D.J. the party cheap. So a girl named Angela
Watson suggested that The Click be the D.J.'s. So one cold night in November
1995, they had their first actual party. Again, it was a success and the crowd loved
the music they played. They were an instant hit, and they started doing parties all
over Helena and West Helena. Soon they wound up in places like Brinkley and
Marvell. (All in Arkansas)

The Click parted ways in the fall of 1996 as they
graduated high school and were moving on with their lives. Michael and LaGanzie went to
Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Darren the year before had
moved to Ohio never to be heard from again. Stack stayed behind in Helena. Stack
got a job at KCLT/KAKJ Delta Force II and became one of it's most popular D.J.'s
ever. He would then move to Little Rock to become one of Power 92's The Bad Boyz
and become one of Little Rock's most well known D.J.'s. (In the links page,
there is a link to Power 92 where you can listen to Stack (Known as Stack III)
live on the air. He's on from 9:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.)

At Arkansas State, it seemed at first that it may
have been a while before The Click would get a chance to do any D.J.ing. They
were under the impression that to do any parties there, you had to be Greek,
since the Greeks had all of the parties. They did manage to get one small gig their
first semester there. It was a Halloween party for the Student Activities Board.

LaGanzie and Mike went to the Alphas homecoming party that
year and talked to the D.J. He told us that he was graduating that year and
would need a D.J. and that they were cool and to just talk to them. Since LaGanzie was
considering pledging Alpha at the time, he figured he may be able to do something
after all.
The Alphas had an interest meeting for those
interested in joining. LaGanzie attended that meeting and brought up the fact that he
would like to D.J. for them one day. They were receptive to the idea and asked
him to meet with them again to discuss it. LaGanzie and Mike met with them and a
few days later, they got a phone call. It was from Rickey Jackson, who was Chapter
President at the time. Rickey asked would we be interested in doing their
whole week.

They couldn't believe it. They thought that their first party
would be a small gathering so that the Alphas could see if they were any good, and
they ended up getting the whole week. LaGanzie called up a friend of his and
told her about it, and she thought he was lying. After all, The Click were just
freshman being asked to take on such a task. This also would be LaGanzie and Mike's first set of parties D.J.ing by themselves. There was no Stack to tell them what to play and when.

The first gig The Click did for the Alphas during Alpha week
was the Miss Black and Gold Pageant. It was on a Tuesday night. Then that
Thursday, they did a 70's party.

Finally the weekend came. It was the debut of The
Click at Arkansas State. Soon LaGanzie and Mike would become the talk of the
yard. They tried something new for these parties. They recorded music videos and
played them during the party using big screen tv's. Alpha week was a huge
success. It was one of the crunkest weekends in recent memory at that time.

Mike and LaGanzie soon were approached by almost all the
other Black Greek organizations on campus to do parties for them. And they were
just two freshman, barely having enough hours to join one of these groups. That
semester they also did AKA week, Delta week, and Kappa week. They also played for
the football team and traveled to Osceola, Arkansas And The Click still was D.J.ing in
all the old areas they had DJ'd before.

One of the greatest performances The Click ever had was A
Phi A Bout It Blast. It was LaGanzie's first party as an Alpha. His job in the Chapter
was to organize and promote events. And promote he did. Bout It Blast started a
tradition at Arkansas State as the crunkest party during the first week of
school four years running. Over 500 people jammed packed the Pavilion on campus
for a party that was hype "to the windows...................to the
walls............ain't nothing but an Alpha ball (well not a ball, but it rhymes
for purposes of chanting.) that's all, that's all!"

Bout It Blast was also Alexander Collier's first
party at A.S.U. Alex (nickname Choo) was Mike's roommate. Choo began to come
with The Click to parties that they DJ'd and even helped set up equipment. Choo developed
an interest in D.J.ing and slowly began to learn all about it.

Choo didn't sound like the name of a D.J. so LaGanzie
recommended that his D.J. name be Mystachoo. He liked it, and Mystachoo was born.

1998 marked 25 years of Alpha Phi Alpha and Alpha
Kappa Alpha on Arkansas State's campus. To celebrate, both organizations teamed
up to have a party at Rollin J's Skate Arena in Jonesboro for homecoming. This
party would mark the reunion of The Click with Stack III coming down from Little
Rock as the featured D.J.

The now infamous party ended with a botched bomb
threat that caused fights, damage, injuries, and police from a 100 mile radius
to be summoned to the party. The incident was broadcast on statewide TV.

Mystachoo's first party as a solo D.J. was for Men
of Distinction on December 4, 1998. M.O.D. was the mentoring group that Alpha
Phi Alpha had created. His performance was met with mixed reviews. But LaGanzie was
proud of him and knew he would get better.

The Click continued to get more gigs, even traveling to
Texarkana, Texas to do a Greek Show.

The year of 1999 would see Mike get married and
Mystachoo step up and have a prominent role in DJ'ing. A Phi A Rowdy Friday
would be Mike's last gig and unofficial bachelor party since he got married the
next day, August 21st.

The year of 2000 not only brought along the dawn of a new millenium, but a new area for The Click. The Click would be DJing more events at Arkansas State, a predominantly white
university. Some of these events were the Welcome week and Springfest. The Click
also traveled to Pine Bluff and Fayetteville, Arkansas.

A new member of The Click
would come to prominence in 2001. Kevin Mosely, Mystachoo's best friend, began
to D.J. along with the other Click members.

The Click's DJ career would forever be changed on October 6, 2001. Alpha Phi Alpha was having a party at the ASU Pavilion following the football game with Ole Miss (The University of Mississippi). Mystachoo was the DJ. A huge fight broke out. It was rumored that
a police officer was assaulted and others were injured. Regardless, this
prompted Arkansas State to halt all parties by Black Greek organizations. With
the party scene at ASU shut down, someone needed to step up to fill the void.
The Click would fill that void. On November 17, 2001, The Click would
orchestrate the return of parties to the skating rink, which was under new
management. The party was very successful and The Click hosted parties there
every month until February 2005 with attendance ranging from 400-1200 people and they were the best parties at ASU.

The Click has continued to expand it's membership. The Fall 2002 semester would see the additions of Leon Smith, Will Woods, Sr. ,Edward Toolie, Felishia Hogans, Sharon Ralston, and Trista Blakely to The Click. Bobby Sykes Jr. would join in Fall 2003 and in the Spring of 2004, Fert Keith III, Jarvis McGinnis, Daniel Bennett, and Ray Dixon would become members of The Click. These men would be known as The Good Squad.

In the Fall of 2004, Worm, Cornell, Squirrel, and Bam Bam became members of The Click.

In 2005, Mystachoo founded Highly Motivated Records. Highly Motivated currently features three artists: Da Wild Child, Freeza Boy, and K-Lea.

In August 2006, The Click Enterprises was incorporated.

In the fall of 2006 Stack 3 founded S and R Productions, a company that books and promotes talent and shows.

On July 4, 2007 The Click acquired The Stash Spot 3, located at 205 Plaza Street in Helena-West Helena. This is where Click events will be hosted.

On March 8, 2008, The Stash Spot 3 Reopened better than ever.
